A time to laugh until you're on the floor about to pee your pants from laughing so hard...

Ummmm......

All I can say is,

Michael got a little shorter this weekend.

These new coke bottles gave us the feeling that we were really small people in a world of giants who had the regular coke bottles. However, those "regular" coke bottles were now huge to we "small people" and we had to drink them with two hands now. And well, we just couldn't resist the urge...

Yes, we're twelve years old, but we were seriously on the floor laughing when we looked at these pictures after taking them. I could never have this much fun with any other man. The Lord knew exactly what I was going to need when he chose Michael for me. And that is another twelve year old to play with. :)

Time for a NEW TABLE!

We got a new table! Yay! My mom found this great antique table and had it refinished, and then my cousin Carolyn gave us three of the chairs and my mom found the fourth. All four look like they are absolute matches...but only we know that they're not. Well, and now you know because you're reading this. Crap.

Anyway, I got a great deal on some decor and spruced it up. It's actually going to be fun to "eat at the table" now! I think I will actually use some serving dishes and decorations that I've had stowed away. And then after a week I'll be tired of that, and we'll go back to just serving our plates from the pots and pans in the kitchen. But hey, it'll be fun for a week right?

Or maybe we could start having people over to play cards on this fun new table. That sounds like a good idea. Now all I have to do is learn how to play "cards."

It most definitely WILL NOT be used for one thing though. And that is that it will not be used as a place to put the mail when we get home in the afternoons. It's right by the door, so I know it's easy to do. But, we won't do it.

Check back in a week. The serving plates will all be stowed away again and there will be mail on the table.

Sigh...

So much for dreaming though. It can be fun while it lasts.

A Time to Paint

It was a rainy Saturday, and there was nothing to do. All of a sudden, I had the bright idea to go to PaintedByU, and paint some pottery. Luckily, Katie wanted to go too, so I had some wonderful company! Katie and I both painted plates, and this was my finished product. All in all, it was a great time, and I got to spend some good quality time with Katie before she leaves Birmingham. We'll miss you Katie!
